NASCAR IGNITION 1 SHOES

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) was born after a December 1947 meeting at the Streamline Hotel in Daytona Beach, Fla., where Bill France Sr. sought to organize the growing sport. What grew from this summit of automotive leaders was a national phenomenon, now in its seventh decade of racing.

Created world’s first RFID coated shoe using discarded Nascar tires. Details include tracking the laps of the car, the driver of the car and then creating an upper shoe to match paint and logo design of the car that the sole of the shoe was made of. Provided the consumer with certificate of authenticity that displayed the race site and number of laps that shoe was involved in.
